This is a unique, nutrient-dense makeup remover that uses a special ingredient, tallow, which is not often seen in skincare products. We use a trifecta of super oils and fats which makes this makeup remover so effective, it will even work on thick, heavy, and waterproof makeup, yet it is gentle and nourishing for the skin.

We use grass-fed, grass-finished tallow which has an abundance of nutrients for the skin, especially the delicate skin around the eye area. Tallow is also deeply hydrating. More on why we love tallow skincare here. 

Tallow Properties:

• Contains naturally occurring retinol (bioavailable vitamin A)
• High in nourishing fatty acids such as Conjugated Linoleic Acid which has anti-inflammatory properties (CLA), Arachidonic Acid (AA), Oleic Acid, Palmitic Acid, Alpha Linoleic Acid (ALA), Stearic AcidStearic acid helps the skin stay flexible and youthful.
• High in fat-soluble vitamins A, B, D, E, K, omegas, and fatty acids- all of which are highly bioabsorbable.
• Contains palmitoleic acid, which has antimicrobial properties

Coconut oil is antimicrobial, antibacterial, and antiviral. It minimizes the appearance of fine lines/wrinkles, has antioxidants, and is gentle enough to use around the eyes.

Coconut oil works incredibly well as a makeup remover on its own but tallow adds nourishing benefits not seen in many plant-based oils such as bioavailable vitamins A, D, E, K, and omega fatty acids.

We also include evening primrose oil (EPO). EPO nourishes and protects the skin. It is an excellent skin conditioning agent and is used to even out skin tone for a healthier complexion. It is a soothing oil to use around the eye area.

We Omit Essential Oils

While we love essential oils in our whipped tallow butter, our makeup remover is unscented. This way, even the most sensitive skin types can use this around the delicate areas of the face, without it causing irritation.

Always do a small patch test before applying it to the face. 

How to Use:

Gently massage a pea-sized amount of balm between your fingers to soften. Gently rub around the eye area. Wipe off with a soft cloth. Or, dunk your Q-tip into the balm and wipe away eye makeup. Wash your face with your cleanser, spritz on your favorite facial mist and apply a nourishing moisturizer. Enjoy a glowing, clear complexion!
