Supporting Local and Global Businesses

We are pleased to send out this update that for now we are still exempt from tariffs on US imports into Canada. That means we can still offer so many great US made products to Canadians at great prices.

Goodie Vibes is a Canadian company that brings many hard to find products to customers across Canada. We are an example of how supporting Canadian businesses can also support business across international borders. Goodie Vibes is based in Canada and we support other local businesses, from our own workforce to local carriers and suppliers. We also pay Canadian taxes, including sales tax, income tax and duties. However, we also support international businesses, including US brands, our US warehouse and other suppliers based in places like New Zealand, Australia, Ireland and other countries around the world.

So while we appreciate giving and receiving so much local love, we also wanted to take a moment to zoom out from the political debates about national interests and voice our perspective on what it is like to do business in today's local/global economy. The truth is, supporting local businesses and supporting businesses abroad can be intertwined. What matters to us is that we support customers who are looking for the best products that the world has to offer, regardless of political debates that come and go. What matters to us is that the products that we offer are of the best quality. What matters to us is that the products we offer are sourced from responsible companies that care about their customers, the environment and the people who produce them.

We're always on the lookout for new brands to carry that meet our high standards of quality. Please let us know if you'd like us to carry other products that are hard to find and we'll do our best to make them available to you.
